Demodex Under the Microscope
Demodex mites are microscopic organisms that normally live in or around human hair follicles and associated sebaceous glands. Because they are too small to be examined clearly with the naked eye, microscopy is used when direct visual identification is required.
The video below provides a close-up view of Demodex under magnification. It is intended as an educational visual reference to help viewers become familiar with the mite's characteristic elongated appearance and movement.
