Since both the Fumanling cream and Metrogel contain metronidazole (albeit in different strengths), should I discontinue my use of Metrogel while using the Fumanling cream?
I think the XFML cream has 3% metronidazole. Whereas most prescription metrogels contain something like 0.5%, far less than what you get in XFML. So I'm thinking you're not really benefitting from taking the Metrogel. Better to just use XFML from now on instead.
There is no comparison between metrogel and the Xin Fumanling cream, besides 3% metronidazole, the Fumanling cream also contains different herbs so using the metrogel in addition will have no benefit.
Thanks, that was my guess, but I wanted confirmation. I mean, metronidazole is the only active ingredient in Metrogel, so if you're getting that from somewhere else in greater qunatities (.75% in Metrogel/lotion/cream vs 3% in Xin Fumanling), it would seem pointless.
