I have been informed that demodex mites may cause or worsen pre-existing rosacea. My initial research brought this up, a medical demodex removal treatment for rosacea patients:

with an interesting picture of the procedure.
Has anyone experienced this or a similar procedure and experienced positive results in the treatment of their rosacea?

That's interesting.
I have never heard of such a thing. I would think that you would need a few treatments because I doubt you can kill all the mites and the eggs in one shot. The picture is a bit alarming though because that patient doesn't look like she has rosacea. It almost looks as if she is burned. =/
I think that the best way to kill demodex is to do a safe treatment for us, but that harms demodex. And that it needs to be continuous.
