Unsuccessful Delivery? What now?

I look at the status of my shipment and all it says is "unsuccessful delivery". I have no idea what this really means. Do they just give up? I did not get a note or anything. What do I do now?

Probably nobody was home to sign for the order when they tried to deliver,
please call your local post office asap with your tracking number handy
and ask them for a new delivery, otherwise they will return your order back to HK.
Please let us know the outcome.

Thanks, I did not realize that the tracking number was valid for USPS (the link sent to me was to a hong kong delivery site). They attempted again today supposedly and left a note according to the USPS website. Someone was home all but maybe 1 hour, so it seems fishy and no note. If noone is home, my complex signs for it and I have got over 200 packages without a single "unsuccessful delivery" because of this.
Either way, it appears to be on the USPS side and I will track it down. I am wondering if the label was damaged or something and they are not getting it to the right place. Thanks though.
