Shaving Head + ZZ on the scalp!?

Hey guys,
I'm looking into ZZ for my face and the DS shampoo for my scalp.
I was wondering, will it be okay for my hair if I shave it and put ZZ on there too?
I mean, I already shave my head every other week because I like my hair short so that's not an issue. But will putting ZZ on my scalp be okay for my hair? I won't start going bald or anything?!
