ZZ cream in refrigerator?

Post by Josh »

:? I live in Nashville, USA, where the weather is starting to get a little warmer, and so is my house. Should I store ZZ cream in my refrigerator?

Yes you can keep in a fridge but it is not really necessary, keeping in the fridge makes it more difficult to apply, room temperature makes the ointment more soft.
If it is really getting warm you can do to prevent bacteria multiplying in the ointment but on the other hand there are also lots of bacteria living in a fridge so difficult to say what is best to do, a still closed jar is better to keep in fridge of course.

I think it is better to keep the cream in a cool place(0--25 is ok), not in the sun, the bottle shoul be closed well. Avoid freeze the cream as it may change the character of the cream.
