Does the zinc oxide remove all copper from facial skin?

I have been using ZZ for over 2 years and it worked great, stopped acne in about 4 months for me. However I noticed that my skin would scar easier while using ZZ, like indented scars not the marks.

I have read that zinc competes with copper, and may make it less available, however both are required for collagen and elastic formation/cross linking which is needed for tissue/scar repair

Would using the zinc oxide based ointment for a long time possibly deplete copper in the skin?

That's a question I really cannot answer, I am using myself already 6 years (Maintenance treatment once in a while) and
I don't notice any difference concerning scars, actually, because I don't have acne anymore there is also no reason to get new scars.
