Acne medication science fair project

I am currently working on a science fair project called Acne.So I need some help from you guys I don't know is this a right place to ask this or not.I have completed my E Coli bacteria grow purpose I am not sure if what I am seeing is a uniform lawn of E coli. On my nutrient agar plates I have small clear circular circle about 1 mm in diameter over the area of the nutrient agar plate control. Is thesis colonies of the E Coli bacteria or do I have to redone these plate. I wanna know What exactly am I suppose to see if I have an successful Growing bacterial lawn.
