zinc oxide question

Hello,

Im new to this forum and had a question. I have been using the zinc oxide cream for roughly 3 weeks and having nice results. I dont have Rosacea but im using it for possible demodex prevention. The Zinc Oxide cream is drying my skin a little. I apply it am and pm, is it ok to apply a moisturizer after the Zinc Oxide cream or will it cause a reaction?

I use Sea Buckthorn soap to cleanse my face before I apply the ZO cream.

Please advise

hi robert , my opinion is do not combine z cream with anything, or you are defeating the purpose of using it. good luck tamara

I was wondering though about the dry skin. Its not bad at all, but just was thinking a moisturizer would help. But I dont want to counteract anything

Hi robert, you can use a moisturiser during the day. They say the main dose of z cream is at night when the mites are most active. The dryness, I completely relate to, my skin has never been so dry, and it drives me nuts. I only use the z cream nightly, and i moisturise during the day. I can only use the acarid soap nightly, because it dries my skin too much. hope this info help you robert. Im at 2 months now, cant wait till this ends!! tamara
