I want to ask if anybody know what is good to use like daily moisturizer durring the maintenance program?
I am on this program 1 month and I can say that my face is almost clear.
(I've used zz cream 2 x daily for 8 month )But my skin is very dry and doesn'y look very good
Is XFML without metronidadzole good in this case?
Can I go to tanning and beach or this cause new breakout?
Thanks

Using ZZ twice a day is probably a bad idea. It's dries your skin out way too much if you do that. Once a day is harsh enough, but twice a day is really harsh. At least for me.
And two months of it is probably not going to be long enough. Wait until you're about 3 months into it at least. And if you're not clear by then, wait until you are. Then go onto the maintenance program about a month after you're clear.
When you do the maintenance program, you're only doing ZZ once every 2 nights. At that dosage, you'll find that your skin will not be dry. You'll probably still be dry initially, when you just begin the program. For that, you can use any moisturizer you want. And I also recommend buying some packaging tape (the wide, clear kind). You can use the tape on your face after washing your face. It will lift off the dead skin. After a while, your face won't need any moisturizer, and your use of the packaging tape will decrease to the point where you may only use it once every few weeks.
Oh, and yes you can use XFML as a moisturizer during the day. Well, it acts like a moisturizer even though it's used to treat acne/rosacea also. But when you begin the maintenance program, you shouldn't be using it. Just use a regular moisturizer instead. You should be using XFML during the initial 3-6 months that you're on the main program instead of using ZZ twice a day. But not during the maintenance program.
Tanning... I recommend against extended stays in the sun, especially while doing the main program. Your face is exfoliating, and so there's less protection from the sun's UV rays. Wear a sun screen with maximum protection factor whenever you go out in the sun. And by the way, exposure to sunlight ages the skin quite a bit. I've seen 25 year old women who look like they're in their late 30's / early 40's because they grew up tanning all the time. Bad idea. Keep bare skin exposure to less than about 15-20 minutes per day. If you're planning on doing more than that in the sun, wear a sun screen lotion. My opinion anyway.
