Forum Hacked

Our forum was hacked yesterday 12/06/2005
probable by somebody from the acne.org forum, some people there do everything
to put us in a bad light, somebody using that forum warned us this would happen so
luckily we had a backup from not long ago.
That board even doesnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t allow any user to post anything about us or our products,
this treats are deleted, can you believe?
a board to help acne people doesnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t even allow a enthusiastic user to tell his results with our products?
We could restore almost everything, some users will need to load there avatars again though.
If any problems using our forum, please let us know so we can try to fix the problem.

Walter, you need to update your PHPBB version maybe.

PHPBB is very easy to hack if you dont keep it up to date.

Yes, I did now but maybe I will use instead vbulletin soon, more safe.

I would strongly recommend vBulletin, even a 14 year old kid like me can exploit a phpBB forum like this one, but why would I do that? I love you guys, you changed my life.

So whoever hacked this forum, it just shows that you really are a noob, all it takes is a simple exploit..

We already bought and instaled V-bulletin, only need to import this messages, so one of this day's it will be changed.
