Has anybody had the demodex infection (confirmed with the test) without pimples?I've got smooth skin w/o p&ps with visible capillaries and redness, it respond good for anti-demodex treatment - I can see some improvement with ZZ (1 week - I've just stoped using ZZ for few days because my skin is very dry). I was told by derm that it's impossible to have demodex if you have smooth skin.

Your derm is completely wrong, many people have demodex mites with a good skin, it all depends how and if you react on them,
that is one of the reasons it is so difficult to proof demodex mites are responsible.
I test people every day and find many times mites on people without skin problems, however, this situation can change suddenly, from one day to the other the troubles can start, at whatever age.
Widened pores are many times a sign of demodex mites.
