Rosacea and cosmetics

Post by nbandsb »

Any one out there have any good suggestions about the best types of foundation products for a moderate acne rosacea sufferer to use? I have tried Clinique but now am using Mineral Secrets. I don't want heavy coverage that clogs the pores but something light to cover redness. Forget covering all the papules and other blemishes. That's not hope. Any ideas or suggestions... :?:

Find something without the ingredients:
Lanolin
Lanolic acids
Lanolin derivatives

Use high-end cosmetics because they are concentrated. They have refined small rounded particles and contain micro capsules of nutrients. They contain a high concentration of pigment, so you can use less with better results.

Lower-end products contain raggedly milled talc (chalk), and mineral pigments, which lodge in the pores like slabs of flagstone in a pothole.

Look around and see if you can find something that matches your needs, while keeping these ideas in mind.
