Flaking skin

Hi, I am into the 4th week of zz treatment. My skin is currently very dry and is flaking badly, I am currently using aloe Vera gel in the morning to moisturize a bit but the flaking is still quite bad. Any suggestion on what should I do? Should I stop zz for a while?

I had that problem really badly in the beginning. I just used less, and tried to get some water on my face first.
