Beyond frustration - near breaking point

I'm an aviation professional who has been struggling with
what I read about on this site for nearly 2 years. The humiliation
about my appearance is bad enough but the feeling that one is
nuts is really tormenting me.

I tried the Demodex cream and it may have been too harsh for my
skin as I looked so bad the dermatology group took photos and
were truly indignant that I fell for an internet "scam."

My face, neck and scalp are a mess - itching, flaking - making my
appearance a mess.

I have been having some limited relief from Listerine but no cure.

I'm miserable.

Help!

Hello

I am sorry to hear this,
It can be that you are allergic for sulfur products.
Hundred thousands of people are using the ZZ ointment all over the world
without any problems but as you know, one can be allergic for whatever,
this happens once in a while.
Myself for example, I can use as much as I want without ant dry skin or whatever.
This doesn’t help you to get rid of your skin problem of course.
Can you tell me your skin problems history?
you can also mail email if you don’t like to write it on a forum.
Also, how long did you use and how many times a day?
how much?
Did you use something else at the same time?

Walter

/just a note from my own experience: in 2004 : I took my 3 children to doctor 3 times! The doctor disagreed with me and said poison ivy. I did my own research on internet; I swear they had some kind of mites or scabies. I took them back to the doctor and demanded the scabies $100 per tube cream/tub for each child and myself. The doctor! : Said I was CRAZY; he acted like I 'so' didn't know what I was talking about. But still gave me the creams. Well, the cream worked. In my case the doctor may have been misinformed, and didn't want to even think scabies or mites. My one son looked terrible: took him longer to heal! My daughter had it second worse, and my other son didn't seem to effected at all. I used rid on their heads, and the next day they all had red bumps on their heads; was not from lice: I know what lice looks like! LOL  \ My doctor didn't do a microscope test! I should have asked for skin scrapings to be done.

I believe Walter is 100% correct about using the microscope. Seeing is believing. Best wishes! And good luck.

Another thing: in 2004, If a doctor would have seen my body in the condition that it was in, then they would have probably freaked out! I had HUNDREDS of bumps all over my body & neck & face & head; appeared to be rashes, they were tiny little white bumps and red bumps under the skin, and about 10 holes that formed in various parts of my body that took months to close up and heal, and I coated my body with lotions daily:(tea tree oil and lotion) back them. I itched all over. I finally got better with time; took months. It was scary. Then I started using 5% sulfur cream all over my body. yes, it made my skin red and made me itch more, but it took awhile for my skin to start looking better. My skin felt on fire for awhile. (this is all before I found this website). I don't have these problem on my skin all over now; although I am not 100% better.

I should post pictures of my scares from the holes on my skin that I got in 2004. I will try to take pictures and post.
