Hello

Did you have this dry and hypersensitive skin always or only the last years when the problems started?
I ask you because most of the time this dry sensitive skin is because of the demodex mites problem itself
and not because your kind of skin, it is a reaction from your immune system towards the mites allergens.
The ZZ ointment can indeed by drying but most of the time, since the dry skin is caused by demodex mites,
this problem solves itself in time treating.
This dryer skin because of the treatment is not damaging the skin, it are just the upper dry cells so no need to worry about this.
You can use a moisturizer during the day and use the ZZ in the evening/night.
Use very little the first weeks.
It is better to treat the whole face, even no symptoms on one cheek there will be mites.

Thanks for the reply Walter.
The last 4 years I have dry skin when stop birth control.
My Derm found me demodex in the eye and gave me metrodianazol and azelaic acid.
the metrodianazol is fine on my skin but azelaic acid cause extra dryness.
I want to try the zz cream but in 2 months because i have a wedding and I dont want pimples now.
what kind of moistrurizing can i put until i get the zz cream mayde without alcohol and fragrance??
I have noticed that many who have rosacea with acne/demodex have oily skin but me have dry skin and I have only 2 or 3 Pimples

Hello again

I would not use the azelaic acid, how much percent metronidazole is in your cream?
1% is not enough to kill the mites.
what kind of moistrurizing can i put until i get the zz cream mayde without alcohol and fragrance??
You can use whatever moisturizer you feel good with but we always advice a pure aloe vera one.

No, many rosacea sufferers have dry skin and many have only limited pimples or even none.

The cosmetic version has no fragrance and boric acid ingredients

I have another question!
the DEMODEX causing flushing;
and why those who have rosacea/demodex the changes temperature(cold-hot) causing flushing;
and why sometimes flushing after dinner ;
how causing all these the demodex?

I guess nobody knows exactly why,
the redness is a reaction from the immune system,
probably many different factors can influence this immune system reaction
