Are you saying your acne is more cystic (deep, red bump... eventually pus comes to surface) than surface (smaller bump, pus is right there immediately)? If so, I'm not sure if these products will work on that. As for sunscreen, I don't think fragrance has any effect on mites, but fragrance can irrit...

If your reaction after touching the cats is almost immediate (i.e., within an hour), then you have an allergy. I don't think demodec mites would be causing you to itch that badly that soon, particularly on the arms. I had a guinea pig once. For months, I had no problems, but then I noticed that when...

No, no, no. I won't use steroids. That's how I got the rosacea in the first place (dermatologist prescribed topical steroids for eczema on face and then told me to keep using them when I developed seb derm). Or rather, the steroids might have triggered the rosacea. When I did have steroid cr...

Suggestion re: redness
Just starting out with this product, so... we'll see. Anyway, I was thinking that maybe you could try one of those laser treatments (e.g., IPL) to get rid of the excess redness. Yes, it's expensive, but many people with rosacea have found it gets rid of those nasty veins or redness to which you're r...

Seb Derm solutions
Yeah, I have seb derm in my scalp, too (and by the proliferation of Selsun Blue, Head and Shoulders type products, a lot of other people do too). These shampoos work somewhat; from what I can tell, you need to look at all the dandruff shampoos and find the active ingredients. There are about three d...

Metrogel and Fumanling cream
D'oh! I should have asked this in the last post.
Since both the Fumanling cream and Metrogel contain metronidazole (albeit in different strengths), should I discontinue my use of Metrogel while using the Fumanling cream?

Various skin problems
Okay, I just ordered several of the products, including the ZZ cream and Fumanling cream. So maybe these things will clear all of this up and there will be no need to explore my problems further. So, since approximately May 2001 I have had bad skin problems on my face. Without going into the LONG st...
