It's hard to know what is going on really. These things are difficult to diagnose, and we're not even dermatologists. It could be a fungal infection which attacks the roots of facial hair. That might explain why the ZZ cream isn't working for it whereas it worked for the rest of the stuff on your fa...

Yep. That's all I do now. Once every other night. Sometimes I extend it to once every 3 days instead, depending on the condition of my skin.

Well it's not so much that they "eat" DHT (testosterone hormone). It's that the DHT triggers an increase in the production of oil in the pores. And then the mites eat the oil. At least that's the theory. There's a lot of discussion on acne boards about vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) megados...

Keep in mind that it's not unusual for pimples to appear after applying ZZ. It's usually because there are mites there that it just killed. After you've killed them all, they no longer appear as a result of applying ZZ. Not sure about the lines. Go on maintenance dosage when you're clear for at leas...

I really don't think small amounts of alcohol will hurt the skin any. If you damage your liver, then yes you can see changes in skin color and texture. But that's only if you drink so much that it does damage the liver. I have a drink every now and then. Very rarely. I'm talking about once every 2 m...

Good to hear you're seeing success. For back acne, try the Fulio cream during the day and benzoyl peroxide cream during the night. Or vice versa. ZZ is a bit expensive to use on the back, so my preference would be for benzoyl peroxide cream (not necessarily Carley's though, although that would be fi...

There's no set time limit on how long you should do the full program. You should start the maintenance program only after a month has passed and you're still 99% clear or so. If you've gone a month with solid great results, then switch to the maintenance program.

This topic has come up before. And at that time we also thought they changed the ingredients or something. But that was not the case. Prior to about a year ago, the ZZ containers didn't have that tin foil thing, if I recall correctly. Now they do. Also, I think there was some change in the way the c...

I've been lifting weights and taking protein shakes like crazy for the past 2 months. No problems with acne during that time. If you're just 3.5 months into it, then you should expect these little set-backs on occasion. It happens. But it goes away fast. Just use ZZ like normally and maybe add a lit...

why do you think the maintainence program works better than the regular more invasive one? I don't know that the maintenance program is actually "better" than the regular program. It's just that for some reason after you've been on the regular program for a long time more than you should,...

Steve, This is the 11th day into de treatment. Yesterday I've got 3 or 4 more red bumbs, cysts like lezions. The first cysts that I've got after applying the creams disappeard after several days. Anyway, I am not even sure these are cysts. Another thing is that after applying the Xfmgl my skin gets...

Beats me. Ask your doctor that question. Off-hand, I'd say nerve damage is unlikely. Nerves are below the skin surface and should be protected from any sort of surface application. And you weren't in pain afterwards, right? The cream you were given afterwards is a steroid I believe, and I seem to re...

For me it lasted from day 5 or so to about 2 months into the program. After that things started clearing well. I think it wasn't even as good as what I started with until about 3 months into the program. Then after that things rapidly cleared. By 4 months I was 95% or so clear. By 5 months I was tot...

Ok ill stick with it, you know what like you just want things now. Ill keep apply XMFL in the day at ZZ at night. Use the Acarid soap to wash Thanks Yeah I know. I've been there before. I think part of the reason why traditional acne remedies (such as benzoyl peroxide) fail so often with people is ...

You do know it takes 3-6 months to see good improvement using the products, right? It doesn't surprise me at all if you're just 3 weeks into it and haven't seen improvement. I was still in the breakout period at that point. Took me 3 months before my face was about the same as it was before starting...
