For what it's worth... I don't believe there are steroids in this cream. I used steroid creams for many yrs based on the advice of my derm. The results I have gotten from applying this cream to my skin are nothing like any steroid cream I have ever used. No steroid cream caused my face to turn very ...

I ALWAYS get spots when I get a cold, without fail. Saying that, I can't remember when I last had a cold (well, my diary says April 06), as my immune system is so much stronger since I revised my diet and ate for health - and of course, my acne/rosacea is many times better too as a result. In fact t...

Fair enough - I'm glad you don't have candida issues, but I thought it was worth a mention. You're right about Bee's diet being good for overall healing. I followed it to the letter for pretty much 8.5 months. For the last 6 months or so, I've just followed a low carb, low gi diet. It's good to eat ...

Hi Beth. Cant say that cigarette smoke or chemicals aggravate my rosacea, or at least I dont think they did, my face was permanently red so maybe I wouldnt know, however... over the last few years, I found myself getting increasingly intolerant to cigarette smoke - to the point where it was making m...

I think if you have rosacea too your skin is definitely going to be a lot more sensitive - as you've aready said in your first post. I too have rosacea and hypersensitive skin, so I have to be very careful about what I put on my skin, as even the supposedly mildest topical reddens my face. The z cre...

I dont think you're having an adverse reaction Maggie, sounds pretty typical of many people's experience on this board when they first start using the z cream- sounds to me like the Z cream is doing its job and killing off the mites, hence the increased irritation on your skin. For me, this period l...

Okay so I got over the redness that was appearing on my chin, and the dryness, by changing my facial cleanser. Bye bye Clearasil (I started using it like 4 weeks ago), turns out it was just too harsh for my skin for long term use (or maybe it isnt too harsh, my skin is just too sensitive). So am bac...

I wish I had the answer for you, Kevin. I've been there, so I know how frustrating it is. Are you using the Z cream alone, or doing anything else to combat your acne? I know others may disagree, but if you've been using the Z cream for 6 months and have not seen any real, consistent progress, then y...

For the rash/outbreak on your chest, I can recommend something like Sudocrem, which is an antiseptic healing cream with a high % of zinc, I use it lightly on my face in the evening, but also on all other rashes whenever I get them anywhere else on my body (I have eczema, so every now and then I do)....

Week 15 ish - practically 4 months. I continue to be clear of any acne, which is great. I still apply the z cream every evening, but occasionally every other evening, and have started to apply slightly less - as my skin is still quite dry, and I'd like to lessen that. Have started moisturising with ...

I have 2 dogs and a cat Millie! I just try to wash my hands after touching them, and made a conscious effort to touch my face less. When I first started the Z cream, I would have an intermittent crawling sensation on my scalp at night time. I don't get this any more. The only area I still itch thoug...

I use it only last thing at night, so some time after I've applied the ZZ cream - I normally wait an hr or so, or if I am running late then I wait at least 30 mins until after the menthol cooling effect from the Z cream has gone from my face, as I dont want to interfere with the effects of the Z cre...

It is very thick, so I apply it very very lightly/thinly. I leave it on overnight, and clean it off in the morning. I worried too about it blocking my pores and causing breakouts, but it never has seemed to - in fact, I've heard of people using it to good effect to help clear their acne too, not jus...

Well, I've used the Sudocrem cream before both on its own and in conjunction with other creams, and it definitely helps a bit, but I was never entirely/consistently clear. The difference this time is that I've been using it in conjunction with the Z cream, and I'm not just consistently clear, my ove...

Yup its BB is hydrophobic John What does that mean - it is scared of water? Sorry, couldnt resist  In addition to the Z cream, I also usually apply (i.e. when I remember, but recently, more consistently) a thin layer of a cream called Sudocrem, last thing before going to bed in the even...
