6 weeks

Hey everyone
Figured that I'd give everyone an update. My skin is looking really good and has stopped peeling and being oily and shiny for the most part. Just figured I'd share the good news

Peace and love
Julie

Do the red spots itch? I have my good days and bad days but I pretty much started about a month ago. I never really got pimples normally, maybe one or two very small ones that weren't even noticeable. Now I have a huge one on my chin and it hurts so I think that's a good thing. If it doesn't itch, i...

XFML cream

I think I'll be reordering within the month. I am a little worried about the X cream, I think it might be making my skin greasy, I don't know. Does it really play an important role in killing the mites? I was considering using the ZZ cream twice a day and the X cream not at all. Will this kill the m...

How come everybody is having their eyelashes fall out except me? Maybe I am not tugging on my eyelashes hard enough before putting the cream on. Anyway, I would be happy if my eyelashes fell out and I got healed like some of the other people have. I have been using this stuff for over a year -- it ...

Hi Julie Getting rid of demodex mites is not such an easy task as it looks and it is normal that things becoming worse in the beginning. Treat only your face for now, do this a couple of weeks and then start to treat your eyelashes again, don’t worry to much if they fall out now, I understan...

loss of lashes and brows

Does anyone know if losing lashes and brows gets worse after a few weeks of treatment? Also, can you get rid of the mites in the eyelash and eyebrow follicles using only the ZZ and X cream? Because I think the eyelash cream is making it the worst.

Thanks,
Julie

Question for Walter about Eyelashes

Walter, I love the ZZ cream and I think it is working. My face did the break out and peel thing last week. The loss of my eyelashes, however, started getting worse a few days later. Is this normal when killing demodex? I have been using the eyelash cream about once a week, but it always seems to mak...

reinfestations

Hey everyone I'm happy to hear that people are seeing results from the zz cream. I'm getting really nervous though because a lot of the people that have seen such amazing results are getting reinfested after stopping treatment. I think if things are looking good, I'll stay on the stuff for a year an...

2 week point and results

Wow, I reached the 2 week point finally. I tried using DS before and got frustrated and talked out of it by dermatologists. But I got the gall to try it again and I really think that it is demodex. A couple days ago, my cheeks were peeling off hard skin and very very red with tiny pimples under the ...

need opinion, Walter?

I went to my dermatologist and she told me my folliculitis is caused by lymphocites attacking my hair follicles, so this is autoimmune. She obviously must have seen evidence of the lymphocites in the biopsy to have told me that. However, how do I know the lymphocites aren't attacking mites and makin...

Can anyone tell me if it's normal to break out in a rash after using these products? I don't think I'm allergic to the products because then the rash would be all over my entire body. It's mostly on my arms, neck, and cheeks. Could this be a sign of dead mites? Whatever the problem may be, I itch li...

I have just started the DS treatments on Friday and am not sure if this stuff will work or not, especially since I haven't been technically diagnosed with demodex. I might not be any help but I heard that there could be new outbreaks on and off again for 8 weeks. So 6 weeks, you were almost there. I...

starting treatment

Hey everyone I got my order from DS today but I'm such a pessimist so I'm as scared as I am excited. I hope this works. It might not because I diagnosed myself because my dermatologist was clueless. She diagnosed me with eczema, alopecia, AND folliculitis which could all be confused with a demodex i...

demodex making hair fall out?

Hey everyone... just a question, I started using a product for thinning hair because my hair is naturally thin and my dermatologist reccommended it. After using it about a week, I woke up one morning and my hair was coming out like 5-10 stands every time I ran a brush through a section of it. I was ...

new to the board, demodex mites need to go

Hey everybody, my name is Julie, I'm a 21 year old female and I'm new to the board. I've been reading about demodex and it sounds like me. First of all, I worked at a nursing home for 3 years and everyone was breaking out in these mysterious rashes. Even though there was no "evidence" of ...
