Re: I'm back.

Hi Walter. Good to hear from you again.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Once I get 100% clear again, I'll just go on the maintenance routine from now on. Then it won't matter that my girlfriend has mites.

Thanks again,
Steve

Re: If this works then why....

Also where are all the older members etc, if the cream worked then I'm sure they'd come back and tell people because acne sufferers always try to help each other out. actually, not true. from a psychological standpoint, once someone has recovered from something, gone into remission, etc. most often...

I'm back.

Some of you may remember me from the "early" days back in 2003, 2004, and 2005. Well, I just wanted to pop my head in and say Hi! I had some pretty amazing success using the products. I was 100% clear for something like 4 years or so I guess. Maybe more? I've not kept track. Anyway, so aft...

I guess you're thinking that if you go off of it for the holidays, your face will get a chance to get better, since you're not actively killing mites. And with your face temporarily better, you are more presentable over the holidays. That is a possibility. And if it's just a week or two, it probably...

Yeah, ZZ can be very drying. So, if you're more or less clear for the next month or so, then go on to the maintenance dosage instead. The maintenance dosage is ZZ once every other night, and stop using ZZ or XFML in the day. After a month or so of that, your skin should stop being so dry. You can us...

I believe those tiny capillaries are there permanently. They're similar to vericose veins. I know what you're talking about. I have some on the bridge of my nose. Barely visible. You have to be about 6 inches away to see them. Check with your dermatologist. There may be a cream he/she can prescribe ...

Yeah, I can't venture a guess about any connection with herpes outbreaks. That's beyond me. I think you should ask a dermatologist. Scarring is a tricky problem to solve. On the one hand, I heard that scarring does eventually get better over time. But it's very gradual and could take decades to redu...

I notice sometimes that when I get the flu or a cold or something, my face will actually get better. I theorize it's because my immune system is being forced into overdrive. It has the side effect of clearing up acne a little more. So I'd say it's definitely possible you're seeing some kind of immun...

Yeah, I just let my bath (body) towels dry naturally. I have 7 towels, actually, and I use one or two per day. I just take one from the top of the pile and place the recently used one on the bottom. I wash them about once every 1-2 months. As for my face, though, I always use a fresh, clean washclot...

I doubt it's the food causing anything you see on your face. But it's possible. Most adults are lactose intolerant, which means dairy products cause bloating and such. But I don't know how that would affect acne. And no, it's not a protein digestion problem, since all foods contain pretty much every...

I don't know of anything to help things along. Just prevent recontamination. And continue doing the full program until you're clear. If you're worried about nutritional deficiencies, try adding a multivitamin to your daily diet. Walter says you should especially add vitamin B-2, I believe. Personall...

Yeah, I'm not very knowledgeable about makeup, since I'm a guy. Haha. But it's true that demodex mites and the acne bacteria eat oil. And so if your makeup is oil-based, then it could be bad. And the fact that you're probably touching your face with the makeup applicator and then dipping it back int...

I recognize almost all of those ingredients. I see no ingredient that I would recognize as fighting demodex mites or acne bacteria. The acid content might promote exfoliation. The squalene and glycerin might moisturize. Not sure about the herbal extracts.

You're doing the right thing. Two months into it, I still had breakouts just like you mentioned. More or less clear for a week or two, or at least getting better, and then all of the sudden you get a big breakout. It's common. It eventually stops happening. Also, make sure if you sweat, you wash you...
