It's a good site, Marla. Thanks! It does have discussions on Implantable Contacts and also Intacts. Those are what I'm interested in. They also mentioned the one caveat that I had heard before: There's some tissue recession with these things. I don't know how serious that is, but I don't like hearin...

I don't think anyone can tell you the answer to that just yet. At least not definitively. Not enough people have tried both and can compare. I did hear from two people a long time ago about their experiences with the Facedoctor soap and shampoo. Their results were mixed. One said it didn't do anythi...

Oh, I also remembered to mention that you should be changing your pillow cases everyday. And you should be changing your bath towel everyday. And you should keep your hair and hands away from your face. As well as keeping everyone else's hair, hands, and faces away from your face. Pets, too. Kind of...

I've never met any orthodox medical doctor who recommended anything other than prescription antibiotics for something. Now, I'm not totally against the idea of herbal or alternative products like tea tree oil, but the fact is, those kinds of products are not regulated or inspected for quality. When ...

Hmmm. You shouldn't normally continue getting breakouts after you see the creams working. Eventually you should have gotten to the point where you see only one or two small pimples rarely. I was nearly clear after 5 months. So I kept on trying the full program of ZZ at night and XFML during the day,...

Two years update

I'm a 33 year old male. Had acne since age 14. Had to have Accutane once, but it only resulted in a temporary relief. Tried a lot of other products as well. Only benzoyl peroxide has helped, but my skin doesn't tolerate it well, and it's not as good as the Demodex Solutions products. I've been using...

Fast shipping!

I've been using Demodex Solutions products now for almost 2 years. What amazes me almost as much as the results of the products is the fast service and shipping. I place an order in Texas on Monday and get the package on Friday. What's more, most of that time is apparently the few days that they're ...

Oh, by the way, I just started using the eyelash ointment. I'll post a follow-up in a few months with my results. I'm crossing my fingers. I'm also going to get more input from my opthalmologist next week. I tried his prescribed bacitracin antibiotic ointment for 20 days. No change in my condition. ...

Hi Kara, Well I have thought about laser surgery for my near-sightedness. The first problem I have with that idea for me is that my prescription has changed every year since age 6 or so. The rule of thumb, I think, is that you should only do lasik surgery if your prescription has been constant for t...

Re: Steve is observant.

Marla, Thanks for the info about Similasan. I'll ask my doctor about it. I had also gotten used to using Blink 'n Clean while I wore contacts. I started using it very frequently this past year. It was working well. Can't tell whether or not I was allergic to it, though. I'm allergic to most non-rub ...

Nah I'm an aussie mate :) Ah. I forgot Aussies have that in their vernacular as well. Ha! Maybe you can just use the Naphcon before a big date, and try not to use it any other time... I've been trying to stop using mine for the last few days... but its nearly impossible. I always reach for the eyed...

How long does the product last?

How long does the eyelash cream product last? A month? Two months?

I need to know before making an order so that I can estimate how many of them I'll need.

Thanks,
Steve

The Naphcon-A product does help my red eyes more than any other product I've used. But it doesn't cure them. It doesn't last very long. And it only gets rid of the minor redness. The big main capillaries are unaffected. But it's pretty good anyway. I'll continue to investigate this problem with my o...

Walter, I'll definitely try the eyelash product. And you're right, no news is good news. I have to tell you, I have never been this free of acne in my life (past age 14 that is). I don't think I'll try the microscope thing. I'll just purchase the product and give it a try for several months. I'll po...
