I had a horrible Demodex Mite infestation on my face, eyelashes, scalp and body. I know now that it was the cause of my acne and rosacea also the cause of my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes falling out. The Dermatologists I went to see in the USA did nothing to help and said that "it was all in my head" By doing my own research and then using the Demodex Solutions skincare products purchased on this website and taking the following steps outlined below, I was FINALLY able to take control.

WASH EYELIDS AND EYELASHES WITH OCUSOFT PLUS
OCuSOFT Lid Scrub PLUS Extra Strength.
OCuSOFT Lid Scrub PLUS is recommended for moderate-severe eyelid conditions with bacterial involvement and/or Demodex mite infestation.
It comes in Moistened Wipes or a Foam (I purchased the OCuSOFT Lid Scrub PLUS Foam, It worked amazing!)
To Purchase Click Here: http://www.ocusoft.com/for-patients/eye ... nsers.html
(Use this scrub on eyelids and eyelashes twice a day just before applying the Metronidazole sterile eyelash cream)

SOAK IN A SPECIAL HOT BATH
Fill tub with the hottest water you can handle and mix in the following:
One cup 20 Mule Team Borax http://www.20muleteamlaundry.com/
One cup 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide
To Find A Retailer In Your State That Sells 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide: http://www.h2o2oxytech.com/Retailers/States.html
(If you cannot find these items soaking in Epsom Salt and Baking Soda work too)
This will kill any mites that may be on the body. They cannot survive in this special bath water! When you are done soaking do not rinse the bath water off but rather let your body air dry.

WASH/CHANGE YOUR PILLOWCASE/TOWELS DAILY
Also wash your clothes and bedding with 1/2 Cup 20 Mule Team Borax OR 1/2 Cup Epsom Salts added to your washing machine. Wash in VERY HOT water and Dry on Highest Tempature. (this will kill any mites on your clothes or bedding)
I suggest using your own towel or a fresh clean one every time you bathe or shower and not sharing with family members. and washing them often. This is only because the mites can live longer in wet environments and if you take multiple baths a day you might be reinfesting yourself with your own towel.

BOOST YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM
Take The Following Supplements Daily:
Vitamin B2 Riboflavin
Vitamin C
Niacinamide
Collodial Silver 30 PPM

I buy my supplements onine at VitaCost http://www.vitacost.com
(they have the lowest prices I have found anywhere! And fast inexpensive delivery)

I also applied the ZZ Cream directly to my scalp right after I washed and towel dried my hair. And I would rub in just a tiny bit ZZ cream to areas of my body where I felt crawling sensations. Chances are these mites are living in your hair follicles on your body/scalp and moving to your face as well which is causing reinfestation.

GOOD LUCK! :D

Hi,

Have you tried anything for scabies? I have been studying for upcoming exams...lack of sleep, food at this time is somewhat inevitable and at night I felt these things crawiling on my face. My ears, my nose, eye brows and eyelashes. I started going crazy since everyone said its "your nerves" or the "caffeine". I've always had the sensation of something walking in my hair or my eyelashes every once in a while. I thought it was just ants or hair folicles becoming loose.

I've been gooing through this night mare for three days. I had a britney spears moment and cut my hair off my head...not a good look. I was grossed out and figured shorter hair should make this easier. Believe me, at the time I would have gone bald if I found my boyfriend's clippers.

I know its demodex. My pores are huge, my face is a rough pimpled...black head, white head mess, OILY MESS. I am vegetarian and was always complimented on my skin. Recently this is a nightmare, I never went through this before. I used alcohol on my face, then olive oil. Put vaseline in my ears, nose and eyebrows. At first it would look like a speck of dust but last night I sat down with clear scotch tape and stuck everywhere I felt movement. I swear to you I got close to 100 mites. I literally use what should be my study time with a magnifying mirror and torch light... staring at myself. They are almost see through tiny oval shaped flecks with a pointed head.

Since they are mites like the scabies...mind you I feel them since I've become extra sensitive to them but I don't really see or feel bites... I bought a soap to treat scabies. I even used it on my hair. Today is the second day for use, I';ll see if it brings any relief. I plan on buying the doctor something soap online...hopefully my face can return to what it once was.

I've also started to take my vitamins again. Maybe the cause of this since I've become quite delinquent. Additional vitamin C and an evervescent called immune plus and my stress ease Jaimeson formula.

I hate these things, pls tell me if I'm on the right track. I live in the caribbean, no access to boraz and the sort with such ease.

My question is for LABUYER who posted all the info on how he had mites on face, scalp and body.

I do too and this has been going on for over a year but worsened lately. When you do the borax bath, do you submerge your hair into the water also? Or did you buy the shampoos from here? I have been using some seabuckthorn soap, oil and moisturizer which helped some. How did you say you got them out of your hair? And was the eyelash treatment effective?

Hi Yes....I bought the shampoos from here. Do not submerge your hair into the bath if it contains hydrogen peroxide as it can lighten your hair color. The eyelash ointment is very effective too, but as I said purchase the ocusoft lid scrub and use that first. Good luck!
