Infant skin and ZZ ointment, help needed

Post by crzyakta »

Hi all, I have a 1 month old who seems to be having a demodex infestation on her face and ears. There are tiny bumps in small colonies all over her face and seems to be spreading. Many turned into and lesions however many are still bumps and not yet inflamed.

I have used zz on my face for years, and is the only thing that worked for my acne, I stopped about a year ago due to no breakouts. Thinking my skin could have affected my daughters and she seems to have the same immuno response as I did. Any thoughts? Perhaps a light watered down layer? Any help is much appreciated.

That’s I tough question

I have no experience with so you young infants at all.
According the professor it is possible and you should be able to use
a very tiny bit of the ZZ ointment to address the problem but please
understand that I cannot give you any advice in this case.
There can be different reasons for acne like lesions with infants
and besides my 11 years’ experience I actually have no medical background
to advice you.
Did you already ask your doctor about this specific skin problem?
