JS, you might want to look into pure sea buckthorn oil for your scalp, while still using ZZ and the soap on your face twice a day...are you trying to alter your lifestyle as well? ie in terms of pet management, facial touching, immune system boosting, and diet altering?

pears, have u begun any type of anti-demodex treatment as of yet? if so, how has it gone thus far?

also for anyone else reading...should intense treatment last the 90-120 days followed by maintainence afterwards (ie how does one know if it is okay to go on maintainence?)

Would this treatment be okay?

I purchased the ZZ cream, I use sea buckthorn oil soap twice a day and plan to use ZZ cream right after 2x a day...I will not be using any metronidazole (XFML) creams though (as I have read it is not too effective against the mites)...so would my regimin be okay? thanks

Steve, I have also tried alot of what you mentioned...meditation, fasting, special diets, vitamins, collodial silver, herbs (sesamin actually works reallg well against acne, but kills your libido and sexual performance, as does beta-sitosterol)....how has your acne fared with an anti-mite treatment ...

Peaches one thing to note, which is odd in ur case...stridex pads have 2% salicylic acid as the active ingredient...this is known to kill (though not to effectively) demodex mites...how do you think it triggered ur outbreaks? why did you use it to begin with?
