i still think you are using way too much for your skin. wet your face, and then touch your finger to the zz cream, and spread it around your face. it should be totally invisible. only a teeny bit.
stay away from the really dry areas for a day or two till they calm down. did you use the tape?

(70% of the immune system is in the gut, where these good bacteria reside and keep things ...

kimberly, check out my posts to baybeebubble under the heading: help my skin is so dry!!!!!! need advice. just do what you are doing , but i dont think the lotion, or cold cream in between is a good idea. they can suffocate the skin and actually provide a type of moisture for the mites which lack an...

the scotch tape idea came from a friend of mine who used it for her retin -a induced dryness. it really works, but be gentle. as far as putting a moisturizer on over the zz cream , i wouldn't advise it. because the zz cream may be affected adversely and it wont cut the dryness in the long run. the b...

i found that the best way to deal with the flakiness was to 1) realize i was in for the long haul and that i was going to try my best to stick to the protocol, knowing that others had successfully come out the other side. 2) i backed way off on the zz cream, and kept it very diluted with water till ...

i remember having a similar situation. for me it was old, dead skin cells that were not ready to slough off, but eventually they did and the skin underneath was very smooth. this is a transition period. if it is inflamed, just use a very little bit of the zz creme with some water to dilute it around...

immunocompromised or autoimmune?
heather, i dont know whether you meant "immunocomromised" in your last post.this would refer to a clear case of either a T and/or B cell deficiency, defective phagocytosis or IgA or IgG deficiencies. these occur in cancers and aids for example. now it is true that a person with an Immune g...
